Energizing or sleepy?

Calming, by Leafly’s scale, even though Leafly and AllBud both list Cherry Gelato as 60% sativa. AllBud’s list mixes calming and relaxing with focus and uplifting, and sleepy is not among Leafly’s top three effects for it.1,2

If you meant Lemon Cherry Gelato or Black Cherry Gelato

Their reports differ. Leafly users list tingly, relaxed and giggly for Lemon Cherry Gelato, and aroused, hungry and relaxed for Black Cherry Gelato; Weedmaps describes Black Cherry Gelato as a happy, euphoric head change followed by a deeper body calm.4,5,6 Each is a different strain (see genetics).

Why two batches can feel different

Our five lab results alone ran from 18.07% to 29.44% THC.7 Menus also use the name loosely: Leafly lists Strawberry Cherry Gelato as Lemon Cherry Gelato × Strawberry Fritter, and Weedmaps sends its Cherry Gelato address to Black Cherry Gelato, so two jars labeled Cherry Gelato may hold different plants.3,8
